La Pirogue has a Boho Chic style and is a charming resort nestled in a flourishing coconut grove. It is renowned for its relaxed atmosphere and is set amidst 14 acres of spectacular tropical gardens, running along one of Mauritius' finest beaches. It is on the west coast close to Flic en Flac, approx. an hour from the airport. The resort takes on a fishing village atmosphere with the structural design in the style of the 'Pirogue' fishing boat where the main building takes its inspiration from white sails floating in the wind. The individual bungalows and pavilion rooms are built in local style with volcanic rock and decked with wood and thatch. These are all located on the ground floor. Guests may also use all the facilities at Sugar Beach, next door. Guests on All Inclusive can also enjoy unlimited complimentary green fees at Ile aux Cerfs Golf Course (transfers payable).
