Tropical Attitude is an Adults Only boutique hotel on the east coast of Mauritius, at Trou d’Eau Douce, approx. an hour from the airport, and fringing a tranquil lagoon with a free direct shuttle to the paradise beaches of Ile aux Cerfs. There are 58 seafront rooms and 11 chic villas, each with their own private pool and garden. Days can be spent lazing by the lagoon, enjoying siestas under coconut trees and trying out local Otentik experiences, such as having dinner with a local family. Kot Nou restaurant has a menu of traditional Mauritian flavours, and the hotel has a rooftop lounge area kitted out with Balinese-style sunbeds. Another idyllic chill-out spot is the new Spa POZ. The hotel has banned all single-use plastic, introduced a Bulk Shop so you can help yourself to tea and coffee for your room in reusable glass jars.

Meals
Breakfast at the main restaurant. Lunch at the main restaurant and Taba-J. Dinner at the main restaurant and Kot Nou (on reservation upon availability). Picnic basket for lunch when going on excursion.
